Recorder Teacher is the result of some 13 years development by UK music educator John Child. Although no computer program can be a substitute for teaching by a fine player, John's aim has been to make it easier for young people to master the early stages of learning the soprano (descant) recorder. To this end, Recorder Teacher effectively combines state-of-the-art animated graphics, CD quality music and speech, and rapid response to form a sophisticated, interactive multi-media application.
Recorder Teacher has recently received the editor's pick award from SoftSeek.
